Talking Ability
Some GCCs can learn to mimic 10-20 words. They are not known for clear speech, but many develop a charming gravelly voice. Repeat simple words consistently and reward attempts.

Managing Nipping
GCCs explore the world with their beaks, and nipping is common. Management strategies:

- Positive reinforcement — Reward gentle behavior
- Adolescent bluffing — Young GCCs go through a nippy phase (6-18 months). Stay calm and consistent
