Why We Built This

I got a dog.

In that first year, I bounced between forum posts, WeChat articles, and random short videos. I fed the wrong food, used the wrong dewormer, and spent countless late nights staring at search results with no idea which answer to trust.

The information was out there — it just wasn't organized. Too much noise, too little signal, and no way to tell what was real.

Eventually I learned that most of those "pitfalls" actually had answers. The problem wasn't that the answers didn't exist — it was that they were scattered everywhere, and nobody had put them together in a form that regular pet parents could actually read and use.

PetlyWise is the place I wish had existed back then.

How We Create Content

We only write what we can verify.

Every breed guide, every behavior analysis — it comes from traceable sources, not "they say" or "I heard." If there's no settled answer on a topic, we say so plainly: "There is currently no consensus."

We don't chase trends. We don't write for clicks. Updates may be slow — but every article is worth bookmarking.

Where We Are Now

PetlyWise is still small.

Dogs and cats are live. Birds are being researched. More species are on the way. This is built by one person who cares deeply about getting it right — not a content mill.
