  • Evening — Second food check, cuddle time, cover cage for 10-12 hours of sleep

GCCs need 10-12 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Sleep deprivation leads to crankiness and nipping.

Socialization

GCCs are velcro birds — they want to be physically close to their owner at all times. They need 3-4 hours of daily interaction and thrive on head scratches, shoulder time, and cuddling.
